The Province of Balochistan has the highest disability rate in Pakistan. This combined with the abstract poverty in rural areas of Balochistan makes it impossible for the suffering people to get the necessary treatment and lead an independent life.
Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) has been playing a major role in uplifting the rural masses of Balochistan through its diverse set of expertise and programs. Their initiative for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled in Balochistan was fully supported by Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust.
After passing strict audits and meeting the benchmarks of BRSP, Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust was selected as the manufacturer of artificial limbs for the disabled. The quality artificial limbs were manufactured by our experts in our dedicated workshop – Center of Orthotics Prosthetics and Physiotherapy (COPP) at Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust.
OUR WAY FORWARD WITH BRSP
Our excellence in our work has gained us the trust of Balochistan Rural Support Program. It is a great honor for us that the Center of Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities has been established at Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust, a project of German Donor agency implemented in Balochistan through BRSP.
The Project involves a state of an art unique facility where artificial limbs would be manufactured using modern technology. This would be the only facility of its kind in Balochistan.
The project will be managed by the experts at Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust. BRSP and CHAL Foundation have partnered with Al-Khidmat Al-Hajeri Hospital Welfare Trust to make this Center of Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities a blessing for the people of Balochistan.
